TEN YEARS, the 2015 surprise hit that won “Best Film” at the 35th Hong Kong Film Awards has been developing international versions of the project, kicking off three TEN YEARS films in Thailand, Taiwan, and Japan in 2018.

Inspired by the original Hong Kong TEN YEARS, international versions will follow the same format and are all omnibus features with five futuristic shorts from five directors. We hope that TEN YEARS can become a platform that breeds thoughtful dialogue about both regional and global futures, kickstarting a movement of consciousness across countries. Regardless of whether each film portrays a desirable or undesirable future, these are all issues that are worth considering earlier rather than later.
